My journey with doing missions started when I was 16 years old after going on a missions trip through my high school to the Dominican Republic. As soon as we began helping the people there and building houses, it felt like something was awakened in my heart. For the first time I felt like I was doing what I was supposed to be doing. In the past eight years since then, I have gone back to the Dominican Republic five times. Two and a half years ago I became a full time missionary with an organization called YWAM Circuit Riders.
My first time with Circuit Riders was in the summer of 2018 when I did a one month training program in Huntington Beach, California (three-week training school with a one-week outreach to Tijuana, Mexico). I felt very drawn to the organization and the work that they did through reaching, training, and activating high school and college students with the gospel to reach their city/campus and to see the power of God spread across every region of the US, Africa, Egypt, and Europe. I went home and finished college but I knew I would be back to Circuit Riders soon enough. After I graduated college in the spring of 2020, I moved across the country to join Circuit Riders. In the past two and a half years with Circuit Riders I have traveled three times to the PNW (Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Northern California) and once across Western Europe, Northern Europe and the UK (England, Ireland, Wales), preaching, leading worship, and training students in sharing the gospel and doing practical evangelism.
Last spring I spent 11 weeks going across 11 countries in Western/Northern Europe and the UK with my team, meeting with college groups, young adult groups, and churches hosting worship nights, preaching the gospel, doing practical training, and doing evangelism with our hosts in every city we traveled through. We gathered over 1,000 people at our events and saw over 150 salvations and rededications along with over 20 physical healings. We also saw so many young people activated to preach the gospel and evangelize in their cities.
This coming year I will be continuing to travel to Europe and across the US. I am planning to go back to Europe for two weeks in the fall and for 8-10 weeks in the winter/spring of 2023. I will also be traveling both internationally and domestically in the spring/summer of 2023, but those plans are not yet fully finalized. I am so expectant about what God will do this year in salvations, encounters, healings, and activation in young people across America and the nations, and I am truly so honored that He has brought me to serve and be a part of this work for this season of my life.
