Launch a Missionary (LAM) recognizes that there is a need for the body of Christ to intercede and pray that the Lord of the harvest would send laborers into the nations. When we look at Matthew 9:37-38, we see a word which is often translated “to pray” to the Lord of the harvest.
This doesn’t capture the full meaning. The Greek word used here is Deomai (deh’-om-ahee) which means to request or to beg (Strong Concordance 1189). The meaning of this word is monumental to our understanding of the intent Jesus had in this Scripture. Jesus wants us to pray to the Lord of the Harvest and even more to cry out to the Lord to send laborers into the nations.
Our mission as an organization is to awaken that cry and bring awareness to the body of Christ. There is an enormous harvest of people waiting to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We want to equip and empower the laborers through the unmatched power of prayer and financial provision.
First and foremost LAM is a missionary non-profit organization that has one objective: to reach the lost.
This includes the nations and local communities; we want to support those who have the courage and boldness to be witnesses to the world. Our heart is that the body of Christ would come together to partner with Jesus to intercede for the great commission.
“I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people.”
1 Timothy 2:1
“Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.”
James 5:16
We are an organization that is founded on biblical principles. Our strongest attribute is generosity. LAM is a tithing organization, and we believe that as we bring the tithes into the storehouse, the Lord our God will open the windows of heaven and will bless us in our going out and coming in (Malachi 3:10).
We encourage you to give and to do so joyfully. In 2 Corinthians 9 the apostle Paul says, “But this I say, he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. So let each one give as he pleases in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.”

One of the very first things that the Lord highlighted to leadership at Launch A Missionary was financial transparency and integrity. We believe that…”nothing is secret that will not be revealed, nor anything hidden that will not be known and come to light (Luke 8:17). As a believing Christian organization, we recognize that we are still human and prone to error. Hence, from the beginning we will be fully transparent in our finances and our dealings. We will accomplish this by publicizing our financials on our website so that we can disclose the revenue coming in and the expenses where these funds will be allocated. Because we are a non-profit organization, all major financial decisions will be made by a committee of believers who believe in the vision of the Gospel going forth in power.
“We don’t try to trick anyone or distort the word of God. We tell the truth before God, and all who are honest know this.”
2 Corinthians 4:2
“A false balance and dishonest business practices are extremely offensive to the LORD, But an accurate scale is His delight.”
Proverbs 11:1 AMP
LAM believes in communication with integrity, including honest, transparent and humble communication. We will communicate with integrity to the body of Christ, to the missionaries we will partner with to send, and internally amongst the leadership as we make daily decisions.
We believe in the Word of God wholeheartedly. His “Word is a lamp to [our] feet And a light to [our] path” (Psalm 119:105) From our vision as an organization to the daily operations, we make decisions based on biblical principles. The leadership of LAM make decisions together in one accord in alignment with the Word of God. We will stand for truth, and we will vocalize that what the Bible says stands higher than anything else. His Word shall not return to Him void, but it shall accomplish all that He pleases, and it shall prosper (Isaiah 55:11).
